To enhance students' understanding of career planning and cybersecurity, the Faculty of Applied Sciences at the Macao Polytechnic University held a Cybersecurity Career Seminar on March 24, 2025. This seminar aimed to help students understand the work environment in the cybersecurity industry and prepare for future academic pursuits, employment, and entrepreneurial directions.

 The seminar featured a special guest, Mr. Wilson Wong, Vice President of Cyber Security-Asia from Sands China, along with his team. The guests demonstrated simulated phishing emails to introduce the trends of phishing attacks in Macao and raise students' awareness of cybersecurity. They also discussed career development paths and prospects related to cybersecurity, helping students better prepare for their career journeys and enhance their competitiveness.

After the seminar, there was a lively discussion between both parties, with students frequently interacting with the guests, creating an engaging atmosphere that greatly benefited the participants. This event not only enhanced the students' professional knowledge but also sparked their interest in cybersecurity careers.
