In the afternoon of the 25th of November, the Computing Programme of the Macao Polytechnic Institute hosted a Sports Day at the Multisport Pavilion. All of the freshmen, sophomores, juniors, seniors and teachers of the programme took part in this event, which was full of variety and interest.

Two main sports were played among the students, including basketball (via full-court) and badminton (singles and doubles). More than 60 boys and girls competed with each other for different types of sports. Not only had the said participants the opportunities to stretch their muscles, but also to build up their spirit of team work and strengthen the relationship with other students and teachers. During the event, cheerleaders shouted all over the stadium and the atmosphere was really high. Full packs of snacks were provided, and a simple but grand award ceremony was held. We did have joyful moments during this cool but heart-warming autumn day.

After this event, we find that we are now much more connected, and are willing to listen and communicate with each other more often. We have built up a good practice for communication.
