During the 4-days visit in Singapore, which took place in November 15-18 of 2018, students from the 2nd and the 3rd year of the Computing Program had the opportunity to tour the campus and the research facilities of Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and Singapore polytechnic. A visit to a world-class university such as NTU has widened the horizon of the students, particularly in terms of the entrepreneurial spirit and the advancement of information technology fostered by the university and the government of Singapore. The students were also well received by the local representative of NTU and Singapore polytechnic, who expounded the rationale of the Singapore education system and addressed issues regarding professional development and studies in Singapore.
Following the visit to Singapore universities, the students then had the opportunity to visit other cultural places, such as the National Museum of Singapore and the Merlion Park. The overall experience has been both rewarding and valuable for our students in shaping their global-wise technological visions and furthering their studies in information technology.
